Policies

Helpful information to support a smooth, professional, and well-prepared appointment experience.

Clinic Policies

Please review the information below before your appointment.

Appointments & Treatment Time

Your appointment time includes consultation, assessment, treatment, and any aftercare recommendations.

This allows your session to be tailored to your individual needs and supports the most effective outcomes. As a result, hands-on treatment time may vary slightly within your appointment.

New Clients

New clients are required to complete a confidential intake form prior to their first appointment.

This will be emailed to you after booking and should be completed before your session to allow adequate time for assessment and personalised treatment planning.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee. This helps us offer the appointment time to another client where possible.

Health Fund Rebates

Health fund rebates are available with eligible providers.

While on-the-spot claiming is not currently available, you will be provided with a receipt after payment to submit directly to your health fund for reimbursement.

Consent & Client Care

All treatments are provided with your informed consent and can be adjusted at any time to support your comfort and wellbeing.

You are encouraged to communicate openly during your session regarding pressure, comfort, or any concerns.

Children & Young Clients

To support safety, comfort, and professional standards:

  • A parent or guardian must be present in the treatment room for clients aged 13–15.
  • Clients aged 16–17 may be required to have a parent or guardian onsite.
  • Written consent from a parent or guardian is required for all clients under 18.
Professional Boundaries

All treatments are conducted in accordance with professional standards and the code of ethics set by Massage & Myotherapy Australia.

Any inappropriate behaviour will result in the immediate termination of the session and refusal of future bookings.

Health & Safety

Please inform your therapist of any injuries, medical conditions, or changes to your health.

In some cases, treatment may need to be modified or postponed to help ensure your safety.

A Gentle Reminder

Every body is different, and recovery can take time.

Remedial massage supports the body’s natural healing processes and often works best when treatment is approached with patience and consistency.
